Aurora Borealis, also known as Northern Lights, are incredible natural light displays seen in the sky. They're caused by the collision of Solar Wind particles which are accelerated along the earth's magnetic field. Green displays are caused by oxygen particles, and blue and red displays are a result of nitrogen.
